In 2012, I went to my first Burning Man and met a special individual who left me with a piece of his journal. It is a simple pen drawing featuring a tree, a tee pee, and a moon, and says “Look no further”. I looked at this paper for years, and it wasn’t until a solo spiritual journey that I truly resonated with its meaning. The beauty and complexity of life is all around us… The totem from his piece is the small center, symbolizing how something small can encompass much larger meaning.
