Spirals are found throughout existence in nature, humans, animals, and galaxies, and are a clear marker of the natural interconnectivity of life. I created this to show the duality and connectedness around us. The dreamcatchers and circles around the lion represent the sun, earth, and moon (phases and eclipses). As a leo I chose a lion to be the focus, symbolizing fierceness and stability, as well as ‘land’. The seahorse is the spiral, simple and complex, fluid and soft, and the ‘sea’. Both land and sea are surrounded by ‘sky’, flowing together in harmony, as in the balance of life.
